"Angels on Toy Cart" Plate

After the success of the Angels & Gargoyles plate (see Related Products below), many of you asked for a plate with just the two angels, so we decided to create it.

These playful putti angels play in the sky, using a toy cart pulled by a pearl string. They express all the freedom and playfulness of childhood, and they are also incredibly cute. The subject is inspired by a medieval ceramic plate displayed at the MET museum that dates back to 1520 and comes from the historical town of Faenza, Italy, famous for its ceramics. We repainted the scene following traditional fresco techniques, which gave a nice texture to the work and also allowed us to use a very special color for the background, Mayan blue. This is one of the most beautiful and versatile shades of blue, able to adapt to any environment. 

Our unbreakable plate retains the looks of ceramics without the danger of breaking it, because it is made of a special and totally food-safe resin. It can be used as a dinner plate or as a decoration to hang on the wall; it can also sit on a stand because it looks like an authentic ceramic plate.
