"Stained Glass" Tapestry

We were finally able to bring you all the magic of medieval stained glass with this tapestry that will transform any wall or window into a real work of art. We created this intricate composition by sourcing authentic elements from a book of medieval glass ornaments, that we restored and rearranged into a repeating pattern.

A closeup look will reveal it's a floral motif, with colorful orchids fashioned into gothic style, and interwoven lines that follow the principles of sacred geometry. In the Middle Ages, in fact, there was a strong belief that God created the universe according to a geometric plan, therefore art often tried to follow complex geometries to be closer to the divine. 

With their gem-like tones and kaleidoscopic colors, stained glass windows have been defined as the jewels of Gothic cathedrals. When you hang this tapestry on a window and the light shines through, it recreates the ethereal effects of stained glass, producing colorful effects inside the room. You can also hang it on a wall to bring some color to an otherwise plain room.
